yeah and actually media always bring teh same thing.. it's about the name and the water and how annique sounds better than Anneke...
I dunno I think Annique sounds very old fashion... at least the way she says it.. I thought "Anniqué" would be bette rthan Annick...

Anyway.. then you have the thing with the stewardess story.. so you dont really miss a thing

You want a very honest and simple reply about this?
the best songs of AdA would have fit in the Gathering without many problems...
On AdA you have a very weak middle section in the album with My Girl, the cover song and especially You Are Nice which is worse in my ears than a B-side...

So globally it's good you have this middle section, cause if the album had been a copy of TG without TG, then leaving the band would have been completely pointless... to me AdA shows that chemistry is a difficult thing to find to make a good band.

yesterday it was soooo super.
i arrived at 6:30 pm already XD but the store was way too small to stay there for long so about 7:30 pm i went there again and stayed there untill anneke came.

when she arrived there was like an aura. she is so sweet and very very nice, she was talking with everyone, not just a few words but really having a conversation. she is also very willing to please everyone for example making pictures (i can know ) and signing and stuff. then she performed 3 songs with a guitar:

ps: i also gave her a faye wong CD

yes we recorded all three songs. but the video is very big and there was a girl who filmed it too. so i am first waiting untill she gets online and send it to me so i can edit the 2 views into one and upload that one

to those who hasn't listened to the album yet, please don't read my comments below...




listened to this album four times since yesterday,


the result is I'm very disappointed... as a music listener (not as a TG fan).
Actually, I thought the band was ambitious... but I don't think so today
finally, Air album is really common, simple, light... and flat to me... Many of the songs are so ordinary and linear
Even Anneke voice itself is not enough to make me appreciate the whole album.
the other instruments just going with, then that's it ... so sad they don't take more risk.

well, I really don't like this AdA first album... now, I have to face with it.

on the other hand it's just a first try, so let's hope something really better in the future.

I love Witnesses. The best song on the CD. Followed by Lost & Found. The vocals are great, of course. The music is missing some folks.
