For those who have not listened, I strongly recommend Porcupine Tree. Great band, unfortunately, in Romania few pwople have heard about them and it's very difficult to find their music, and I only have 2 albums :(

I would suggest you find the following 2 albums:

Dredg - El Cielo
Mr. Muggy - Another Muggy Day

Both CDs are very good "mellow metal" albums. You'd just have to give them a listen for yourself and be the judge. Amazon.com (US) offers some audio clips of each of the songs on these CDs. Good luck on your quest for new music!
