Great, Great show.... attendance was lower than on the earthquake relief concert last year, but I guess it has a lot to do with the avalanche of concerts we have had lately and the steep price of tickets (not the case for TG, though)... and the fact that they had already come here promoting "The West Pole" last year.
The good (really good!) thing is that most of the audience were clearly die-hard fans that really got into the music and showed a lot of respect, specially on the quieter parts of the songs. The atmosphere was a lot more intimate and "friendly". It was also a good thing that, not having the insanely-loud crowd we are used to, this time we could hear a lot more of the music details coming from the speakers ... I mean, I love loud crowds for TG, but hearing clearly was really nice for a change.
The band was on fire as always, they played and sounded great, and the setlist (more or less the same as in Peru, plus another new song besides HFG I believe) was quite satisfactory; although with bands this good you'd really need 6-hours setlists not to miss any song
Well, as always (and being this my 6th time) I went home after the gig with some warm melancholy on my heart, and feeling quite thankful to this amazing band for bringing us such heart-touching music.
BTW: it's official: I'm in love with Marjolein
